HRCM is the latest generation of monoblock rack coolers for high density applications . Construction with the condensing section on board the machine considerably reduces installation costs as there are no refrigerating lines. The flanges on the condensing air ducts are located on the top of the unit, making installation tasks even easier. The monoblock construction, which includes both the evaporating and condensing sections, ensures fast installation as no connecting refrigeration piping needs setting up on site. Installation costs are therefore reduced considerably. The aluminium fins of the evaporating coil are treated with a hydrophilic coating to ease condensate water drainage into the stainless steel pan and prevent condensation water recirculation back into the rack through the air flow. The fans use EC brushless motors on both the evaporating and condensing sides: this lets the HRCM adapt to a broad range of ducting configurations and also ensures high efficiency at partial loads. A hot gas by-pass system allows adapting cooling capacity to low cooling demand conditions. The flanges on the condensing air ducts are located on the top of the unit, making installation tasks even easier. The range is also available in a version for low outdoor temperatures (-40 °C).
